About the clinic
The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is Australia’s specialist public eye, ear, nose and throat hospital. Its ophthalmology referral guidelines include dry eye with corneal changes, Sjögren’s syndrome, conjunctival inflammatory disease, ocular pemphigoid, or pain that has not responded to sustained lubrication. Routine low-acuity dry eye may be managed in community care instead.
